Website traffic

This is a question on the forefront of all start ups. How do I get traffic? There are different approaches to this. My advise will be to do as much as you can and monitor and evaluate each channel.

The myth "Build it and they would come", a better strategy will be "Build it and market it"

I have found some useful advise on quora, online etc. Here is a presentation, I felt will be useful to share with you all.

Inbound marketing for startups

I still think "Build it and they will come" can work as long as you build something really noteworthy and you give an easy tool for your early adopter to spread the world - i.e.: social media.

Obviously marketing helps - but I think marketing should be built in the product itself.
Maybe what is needed is promotion.

Build something great and people will come with minimal promotion. Building something great is not easy, though, is it? :-)

That's one point of view. Obviously there are others points of view and they are all true :-)
