LiveWIRE in the Netherlands supports technical innovative entrepreneurs to grow their companies. The programme provides the following services: Advice for technical innovative entrepreneurs; enterprise training; LiveWIRE Masterclasses on growth, marketing, sales and strategy; Shell LiveWIRE vouchers for advice by a Shell expert; and, advice by programme partner, BDO, on financial and legal topics.

Established in the Netherlands in 1997, LiveWIRE Nederland concentrates on helping technically innovative entrepreneurs to develop strong, successful companies. Each year it provides a professional network and free coaching, advice, training and master classes to 200 start-up companies. So far it has helped more than 2,000 entrepreneurs on their way.

The LiveWIRE programme is run by Syntens, an organisation of the Ministry for Economic Affairs that offers an innovation network to entrepreneurs.

Technically innovative entrepreneurs
LiveWIRE is available to technically innovative entrepreneurs who have been running their business for no longer than five years and who market products, processes or services developed on the basis of their own technical findings, or from new combinations of existing technologies.

Young Business Award
At the end of the year the four best companies compete with each other for the Young Business Award. This award provides recognition for their business achievements and creates role models to serve as inspiration for future entrepreneurs.
