Description:	Hey! I'm Dave Scotford, a young entrepreneur based in a small town called Stourbridge (not too far from Birmingham). When I was 15 I set up my first business, which focused in delivering youth football coaching sessions to young people in the West Midlands, as well as an online resource for coaches and managers in the grassroots game. From there I went onto setting up my own music promotions business, called Red Music Promotions which eventually developed into a fully formed independent record label working with bands and artists from all around the UK, Europe and the US. After a great deal of success the business was sold on and I'm now working on the 'next' project. GetRecognized will be launching (hopefully..) in September of this year (2010) which is going to involve a video platform for upcoming and unsigned bands and solo artists to get their name out there to record labels, venues, promoters and everyone who is anyone in the music scene in the UK. Also brought in will be live music events around the country and a small independent in-house record label... So a pretty big project!
