Description:
I have designed and innovated a new piece of home fitness equipment that has a world PCT patent and European/USA design patent (granted). I was offered a license contract by a major manufacturer in the U.S but due to the poor royalty rights and clauses in the contract I am now seeking to take this product to market myself. I have designed this product to be lightweight, portable, easily dismantled, over 100 exercises and be cheaper then my competitors. I am working in conjunction with southampton Solent university to develop and update my original design.

The fitness market is one of the largest markets and with obese on the rise people are trying to find new ways of keeping fit and healthy and are willing to pay 'top dollar' even in todays economic climate. The 'ab lounge' marketed on informercial TV, in its first year turned over hundred million dollars and the 'Total Gym' over the last eight years, One Billion dollars.

On a personal level, I have just been selected by The Observer and
Courvoisier as the next generation of up and coming successful businesses.

London, Dec 2000 as the Government implements measures to bolster the economy, a new list identifies some of the individuals who are still succeeding and growing their businesses thanks to their ingenuity, incredible work ethic and ability to leverage trends and creativity. The list is made up of names which have been awarded a place on the Courvoisier The Future 500 (CVTF500) network.

One of the names singled out is: Clive Payne and his company Cortexblu Ltd, is an up and coming company that has a product with a fantastic future.

The CVTF500 network, founded in 2007, is one of the UK’s leading and most Dynamic professional networks, recognizing and rewarding the country’s most innovative business brains and creative talent.

Clive Payne has been hand-picked by a high profile judging panel of leading entrepreneurs. The judges have screened hundreds of applications from a variety of business and creative sectors.

Courvoisier Brand Manager Claire Richards says,
Courvoisier The Future 500 is about rewarding the success and achievements of the UK’s rising stars. By bringing these people together through an exclusive network and member events, we can help foster a collaborative spirit to help people achieve even more. As the recession bites true inspiration, a driven attitude and a willingness to collaborate with others will be among the key attributes of businesses which will succeed.
