This week Shell Tameer alumni, Pakistan business DoctHER's, celebrated an important partnership. 

DoctHERs, an innovative healthcare business that uses online technology to enable female doctors to deliver a range of medical services to patients in marginalised communities in Pakistan, secured an exciting deal with Unilever's soap brand, Lifebuoy, in order to improve access to healthcare in Pakistan.

 The business, which has already helped over 15,000 people gain access to clinical services and has indirectly reached over 100,000 through community outreach projects, now employs 25 full time members of staff. 

DoctHERs will work with Lifebuoy by providing educational training and awareness campaigning around the use of household soap to support better health; specifically focusing on teaching new mothers preventative healthcare measures. 

Commenting on the partnership with Unilever, Dr Sara Saeed, co-founder of doctHERs, said, "DoctHERs envisions reaching out to over 5,000 communities devoid of quality healthcare. This effort aims at reaching marginalised communities to create a quality change in the present healthcare system of Pakistan.
"Our partnership with Lifebuoy will bring us closer to our ultimate vision of touching eight million lives across the country.”
