Latest News / Report reveals entrepreneurs 'most supported' in Indonsia

A new, global survey based on the perceptions of citizens has revealed that Indonesia provides entrepreneurs with the most support.

Beating off competition from many of the world's biggest economies, Indonesia came out top for valuing entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity, as well as making it easy to start a business.

Other top countries for entrepreneurial support included the US, Canada, India and Australia, closely followed by Nigeria.

The survey, conducted by the BBC's World Service, captured the views of over 24,000 people across 24 countries, asking them to give their own perceptions on whether it was hard for people like them to start a business, whether entrepreneurship was highly valued, and if they felt there was opportunity for people with good business ideas to put them into practice.
